This policy explains how Kalaam Media (Kalaam) respects copyright laws. It guides everyone who manages or uploads content to Kalaam websites.
Who Must Follow This Policy
All website managers, editors, contributors, and anyone who uploads content to Kalaam websites must follow this policy.
Our Rule
Only upload or publish content if:

You or Kalaam owns the copyright, or

You have open license or written permission from the copyright owner to use the content.
What “Content” Means
Content includes all types of material, such as:

Text (articles, posts, captions)

Images, graphics, and designs

Audio including voice, music and effects

Videos and animations

Software, code, and databases
Do Not Upload

Content copied from other websites or sources without open license or written permission

Music, videos, or photos that you do not own without open license or written permission

Any copyrighted material taken from books, newspapers, or magazines without open license or written permission
Written Permission
To use unlicensed copyrighted content that you do not own, you must first receive written permission from the copyright holder. Keep a copy of that permission on file, and share it with your Kalaam Digital Publishing Manager before uploading. You must include in your published content the name and copyright mark of the copyright holder.
Open Licenses
If using content under an open license (for example, Creative Commons), you must:

Make sure the license allows the intended use, and

Include in your published content a copy of the license as well as the required credit or attribution exactly as stated by the license.
Reporting a Problem
If you believe copyrighted content has been used without permission, contact your Kalaam Digital Publishing Manager immediately. He or she will remove the material while reviewing the issue.
Responsibility
Each website manager is responsible for ensuring content complies with this policy. Failure to follow it may result in loss of access to website management tools or closure of the website.
Review
This policy may be updated when copyright laws or organizational needs change. Website managers must review the current version regularly.
